Handwashing is a critical process in Elementary schools to reduce the chance of diseases, like the common cold, from spreading. Colds and other illnesses can lead to absences and loss of learning time for students and teachers alike and have a serious impact on a child’s future. Of course, it is much easier to say that hand washing is important than to implement it effectively. Here are some steps that can be taken to get children to start washing their hands more regularly.
