Whether you work at home or in an office building, there are a few things that every workspace absolutely needs. Whether to keep you comfortable or productive, below are a few things you should incorporate into your office (if you haven’t already)!
A Supportive Chair
Remember, you’re going to be sitting for eight hours a day (or more). While it may be tempting to grab a friend’s hand-me-down chair, this is one piece of furniture worth investing in.
A Standing Desk
As more and more research comes out about how sitting is bad for your health, you may want to nix the chair altogether! A standing desk is a great way to be both productive and healthy.
This one can be tricky, especially if you’re not in control of where your office is in the house or a building. While you may not be able to move your office, there are ways you can ensure you get enough sunlight throughout the day, like going for a walk outside, working outside, or running out for lunch.
Mounted COmputer or Laptop
This one usually comes down to personal choice, but no matter what business you’re in, it’s so important to have a trusty computer. If you always work at your desk, a mounted computer tends to be more reliable but if you travel often a laptop may be the way to go.
